Bay Area Author Visit
Just came back from a trip to the Bay Area! Thank you so much to San José Public Library for hosting an author visit! I absolutely loved connecting with the San José community.
I also reunited with old friends, made new ones and met Instagram friends in person. So many good books, so many wonderful conversations, so many sunny drives (October heat wave!) and so much good food (shout out to Breadbelly for their exceptional kaya toast). The 'Ber Months Are Here
The BER months are here and that means the holiday season has begun in the Philippines! You can catch a glimpse of the longest holiday season in the world in the September spread of Maribel’s Year, where Maribel’s papa makes traditional Christmas parol lanterns by hand to hang on the doors of all of her titos’ and titas’ homes.
