We decided that it was high time for more popsicles and made some pomegranate yogurt popsicles based on The Kitchn’s recipe.

This is what ended up working for us:

1 cup of Greek yogurt (we used Fage and Voskos)

1 tablespoon of maple syrup

1 teaspoon of lemon juice

½ cup of POM Wonderful pomegranate cherry juice

1 teaspoon of lemon juice

Mix the first three ingredients in a bowl, then mix the last two ingredients in another bowl.  Alternate pouring each mixture into popsicle molds or ice cube trays, swirl with a toothpick and insert popsicle sticks into each.  Freeze and enjoy on a hot summer day like the ones we've been having!

Needless to say, the starsicles were thoroughly enjoyed by a certain Avery.
